So, having finished Portal, I’m on to the next toy in the Orange Box – Episode 1.  Seems weird to be playing Episode 1, after playing Half-Life 2…  The numbering seems off…  Seems like Episode 1 should have come first…

It’s readily apparent that I probably should have played through Half-Life 2 again before firing up Episode 1.  It starts off literally moments after the end of Half-Life 2 and you don’t get much of a chance to gain your footing.  Right away you’re dodging debris, jumping over railings, tossing stuff around with the gravity gun…  Took me a little while to get up to speed, and the whole time I was trying to recall the exact events that lead up to Episode 1.  A little distracting, but I think I’m getting the hang of it now…
