Blizzard-y goodness
Blizzard’s got a new Interactive Map of Northrend up on their site. Very cool stuff. You can click around the map and check out all the zones. I still haven’t made it out to Northrend on my beta account, so this is new stuff even to me. I’m really going to have to make an effort to get out there and have a look around this weekend…
Also, they’ve got the Blizzard Authenticator back in stock again. It’s basically a keychain fob that generates nearly random keycodes to be used with your WoW login. It is impossible to log in without having the authenticator in your posession once your account has been configured to use the authenticator.
It seems a little paranoid, I know, but WoW account theft is becoming a huge issue. I’ve been wanting one of these authenticators myself ever since I had some suspicious activity on my account in the middle of the night. Nothing went missing, but I’ve been worried ever since.
