I canceled my EVE Online account last night.
I’ve been paying for two MMOG subscriptions for a month or two now – EVE and WoW. And that’s only really worked because I’m not playing WoW a whole lot. I’ll play with Terri for an hour or two here and there… But for the most part I’ve been playing EVE.
Lately though, with the WotLK beta, I’m hooked on WoW again. I’m anxiously waiting for the expansion to be released. I’m playing more WoW – both regular and beta – and trying to prepare my characters for the expansion’s release. Which leaves me with virtually no time to play EVE.
And what’s the point in paying for a MMOG subscription you can’t play?
I’m not too happy about canceling my account… I was really having a lot of fun with EVE… But there’s only so many hours in the day.
