Well, that didn’t take long.
We’ve already got worried calls this morning from the client who wanted to be able to run automatic updates. I’ve been out of the office all morning so I don’t have the details, but it sounds like some things are not working correctly. Someone is complaining about Microsoft Office, someone else about Internet Explorer, someone else about email…
I honestly figured it’d be next week before things really fell apart over there.
The best part, and I know this makes me a horrible person, is that they’re going to have to deal with their problems for at least a day or two now. Every single tech is already scheduled solid both today and tomorrow. The soonest we’re going to be able to get anyone over there is tomorrow afternoon.
Maybe next time they’ll listen…
