Our car is simply falling apart.

Now the driver’s side window will not close.  This is in addition to the passenger side window that won’t close (and is held shut with duck tape & shims), the power locks that no longer work, the trunk release that no longer works, and the gas gauge that periodically mis-reports how much fuel we actually have.

We have, so far, just kind of been ignoring the smaller issues.  It doesn’t really matter if the trunk release or power locks work as long as we can stick a key in the door to unlock it.  And we really don’t have tons of cash sitting around.  There’s a reason it took us about three years of saving to finally upgrade our computers.

But it’s kind of hard to ignore a driver’s side window that doesn’t work…  I guess we can probably get someone to pull it back up out of the door and we can seal it shut like we did the passenger door, but that is going to be pretty annoying.  Drive-throughs, toll booths, ATMs…  None of that will work too well with a window that doesn’t open.
