get up!
And get down with the sickness…
Yup, I’m ill. Didn’t feel right yesterday morning… My skin felt funny, like I was wearing the wrong body or something. Went in to work anyway though… Got sent out on a call right away and noticed my stomach wasn’t feeling too good while I was there. By the time I was finished up with their computer I was struggling not to throw up. Hurried back to the shop, turned in my work order, and ran home as fast as I could – just made it to the bathroom in time.
This is the first time I’ve been out of bed for any significant amount of time since then. Some kind of nasty flu-ish thing. Cramps, vomiting, full-body aches… All that good stuff. I’m feeling much closer to human right now though… I’m hoping that I’ll feel well enough to work tomorrow. Not that I really want to go back to work, but there’s a lot to be done this week. We’re still scrambling to get all the DST updates done before the 11th. I was supposed to get one update deployed yesterday, but I ran home before that happened. And tomorrow I’m supposed to get one rolled out at a medical office.
