Well, it looks like our Internet connection is back to normal. Apparently there was some router between Charter and AT&T that pretty much died… Despite the fact that Charter technical support told me repeatedly that there were no known issues in the area, other people had been suffering from similar problems for at least as long as we had. On Tuesday (09/12/2004) the router simply stopped working and just about everyone in town with a Charter connection was without Internet. They spent most of the day Tuesday working on the connectivity, and by Wednesday morning things were improving. By the time the technician showed up at our house (around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon) everything was fine. We’ve since had two nights of trouble-free Internet, and it’s very nice after all the interruptions we had… I’m really looking forward to raiding this weekend.

I’m really not terribly happy with Charter’s service…

It’s been a very uneventful few weeks… Nothing terribly interesting happening on any front. Haven’t been able to attend any of the big WoW raids for several weeks… Spent most of last week doing PvP… Did manage to attend AQ20 last night, which was fun, but too short.

Someone on my guild boards posted a great movie of Karazhan - a new dungeon that’ll be appearing in the Burning Crusade expansion. Looks like some kind of cross between Caer Sidi and Scholomanse. I can’t wait.

I’ve also decided I’ll be rolling up a Warlock once the expansion comes out. I was originally leaning towards a Rogue, but the improvements to the Warlock are just plain too tempting. It’ll be good to have a Warlock again… I really enjoyed mine back on Elune.
